Jon Stewart Slams Fox News Over “Common” Issue

As I’m sure you heard by now, hip-hop artist/actor Common was invited to the White House recently and Obama was criticized for the invite by Fox News who cited that Common was a “Vile” rapper, even going as far as to pull up lyrics from the rappers catalog of work. Wilbert Rideau Speaks on Life Out of Prison After 44 Years [AUDIO]

Wilbert Rideau was sent to Louisiana’s notorious Angola prison in 1961, at the age of 19, for killing a bank-teller hostage after a botched robbery. After 44 years and multiple retrials, he was released on Jan. 15, 2005. He speaks with NPR about his life in prison and life in the real world after his 44 years behind bars.

Pres. Obama to meet with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Other Tech Execs

On Thursday President Obama will travel to San Francisco, California to where he will meet with a number of business leaders including the 26-year-old founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, according to a source familiar with the meeting.
