This year at the Sundace Film Festival iconic rapper/actor Ice T introduced an outstanding documentary about hip-hop. The film entitled ‘Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap’ offers a look into the history of the sound of the hip-hop culture and it’s roots. It features interviews from big hitters in the game like KRS-One, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Nas, Kanye, and quite a few others. The film is set to be released this June. Check out the trailer.
